A Fun Theater 4/13/2006

I have been to this theater two times. Each time I have been suprised by how many movies that they show. Most artsy theaters have a very limited selection but the Tivoli always has many. The screen sizes are also very nice. I reccomend the Tivoli to anyone who wants to stray from the path of Hollywood blockbusters. more

Where Else Can you Drink in the Theater 8/20/2005

Alcohol aside, the Tivoli shows independent film that you won't see elsewhere. Even at the other independent theaters, you won't see the selection that the Tivoli has. Sometimes, the theaters aren't very full, so I hope more people start supporting this great resource for unique and thought-provoking movies. You can also find good foreign films there. more

Nice Artsy Independent Cinema 8/19/2005

If you like independent film and enjoy going to the cinema without all the hype and commercialism, then head down to the Starz FilmCenter at the Tivoli, located on the Auraria campus in downtown Denver. With such great features such as Tattered Cover Book Store Free Classic Films nights, and Language of Film - Stop-Start deconstructions, the true film connoisseur can enjoy the high art of cinema without the annoying commercials at the start of movies today. Enjoy a beer while watching a Sundance film festival winner or an old classic revived, cinema as it was meant to be. more
