I take all my cars to Eddie at Startronics and he makes them look unique, sophisticated and top of the line. Whether it's a new sound/video system, tinting the windows, slapping on some nice wheels, rear view camera, body kit, radar detector/jammers, navigation, satellite radio, smoked out lights, detailing or anything I can think of, Startronics does it the right way, on time and at the best prices. I recommend avoiding all the pretenders out there in LA and going to the real deal on Wilshire! Pros: Great service, quick turnaround, top of the line products more

The finest tint job around..... 12/4/2007

STARTRONICS did a beautiful job on my brand new car. \r \r I was so nervous about getting my brand new Lamborghini tinted, since I never had a tint job FROM there before, but after research I found I liked CERAMIC tints best . It is more expensive but it wont affect your GPS or radio reception + that is what the Dealer recommends.\r \r I called to Startronics & found they use Ceramic tint. Eddie himself answers the phone. He is very nice and helpful. \r \r The business seems to Specialize in more than one thing but not to worry, they do an excellent job. The TINT LOOKS SO AMAZING! Highly recommended!\r \r In fact after I went back to the Dealer and showed them everything they did to my car. (tinted my windows, Powder coated my wheels, installed a radar detector, I pod integration I heard a few days later Startronics now works with The Lamborghini Dealer.\r Pros: Thumbs up more

got my windows tinted!!! what a difference! 9/27/2007

I got my windows on my car tinted, and it feels so much better now, one of the reasons was, it kept annoying my kids, the sun was to bright in there faces.\r I like them too, because my car now looks a bit more stylish.\r So what I am saying is, I love it.\r Startronics did a great job in no time.\r so once again, everyone should have there windows tinted.\r drive safely.\r Pros: see for yourself!!!!! Best car audio - best anything fun for your car 9/15/2007

Eddie and Startronics really are the best you can get in L.A.\r \r I was referred here and it was everything my friend said it would be. got a new car stereo, speakers and GPS Navigation system at a great price and great service!\r \r My car is a 1980's mercedes with lots of little things half-working. As I was leaving Eddie was even fixing my electric car windows, sunroof, door, and other little problems, even though i only paid for the sound system and GPS.\r \r Really can't go wrong here. Eddie at Startronics did a perfect job on tinting my new truck. He fit me in the same day and got me out of there fast which was necessary for that busy day for me. Best Car Audio Specialists 8/17/2007

One thing can be said about Startronics. They strive for quality. Whether it means working hard to make sure the job is done on time or going extra lengths to provide an extremely fair price, Startronics makes sure the customer is satisfied. They are highly knowledgeable in their craft and are not afraid to explain every step they take in the installation process as well as provide their own experienced recommendations, even if it means less money for them. For example, with my little knowledge about car audio, I had asked for the best quality cable for my subwoofer being installed, but they explained it was unnecessary for the bass. Such cables would only make a significant difference to the speakers, which I was keeping stock. Surprised at such honesty, I found myself to be pleasantly satisfied with the finished job. They gave me a great price on the job and excellent sound. I highly recommend these guys to anyone who finds it refreshing to see such honest and qualified businesses still around in la! Best Service, amazing sound and WD40 too boot! 7/26/2007

I had the worst day ever ( the car wash people at Blue Wave blew my stereo) and when I walked in Eddie greeted me with a smile and laughs. He took care of it right away even though he was so busy! I ended up getting a great deal on a whole new system without being pressured at all. Not only did I get a great deal on a stereo, Eddie worked for an hour at least to tweak my amp just how I wanted it, then to top it off....he WD40-ed my doors. So sweet. So knowledgable. Seriously, I cannot recommend Startronics enough. If you want someone to deal with you in a down to earth syle. This is for you:) more

EDDIE IS THE BOMB!!! 7/2/2007

Eddie is seriously the best! I had my windows tinted with ceramic plus tint and LOVE it! My black leather seats are no longer scorching hot. Plus, the interior of the car stays remarkably cooler. Eddie was also so kind as to figure out how to successfully pair my phone with the 2008 BMW 535I bluetooth. BMW service advisors couldn't even figure it out and told me my phone was just not BMW compatible. Pros: Eddie Cons: Nothing more

Quality Work by Professionals 6/25/2007

The light for the radio in my car was out for several months because the dealer said it would cost $300 to replace (labor of course!!). Eddie/Startronics replace the bulb in about three minutes for just the cost of the bulb. Based on that experience, I had Eddie replace my damaged center piece, tint my windows and update several items in my car. I highly recommend Startronics, they do quality work and pay attention to details. Pros: Very knowledgable about product and process Cons: Nothing jumps out at me more

Great customer service! 6/21/2007

I've wanted to tint my car windows since I got my car years back and I called Startronics because of the reviews on Citysearch. I'm so glad I did! Eddie was great to work with! I dropped my car off at lunch and picked it up after work and everything has been peachy since! Working with Eddie and Startronics was so easy that I highly recommend going there to anyone. And when I'm ready to add electronics to my car or fix my scratches and dings, I'm definitely going to go back there. Pros: Quick and easy! High quality work! Cons: None that I can see. more

What I loved about walking into this place was Eddie. He stopped everything and answered way too many of my questions even though everytime I go in this place he is busy busy busy. I love doing business with him. Without asking he fixed a couple of small dents in two of my quarter panels. He is not the cheapest in town but far from the most expensive. I Highly recommend this shop. more

A car guy I actually trust! 5/28/2007

I have a slight problem: I love cars, but know nothing about how they work or how to repair them. Hence, if I need a repair or want to customize my car, install a stereo--or basically do anything other then put in gas, I'm at the mercy of whoever is doing the servicing.\r \r Let's just say that Eddie has earned my trust! The guy has proven to me that he is 100% honest and reliable. Eddie's also really friendly--and treats you as he would a friend. He's a total car junky and can do just about anything you dream up. If you care about what you drive then Startronics is definitely worth paying a visit. more

Quick service 5/28/2007

I needed an ipod connection to my existing car sterio and didn't want to spend a fortune. These guys were able to take care of it over my lunch hour and did a great job. The prices were reasonable and I was very pleased with the service. more

Best car stereo installers in LA 5/22/2007

After searching all over LA for a reputable car stereo installer to install an ipod connected stereo for my vintage Mercedes, I finally made the decision to go with Startronics. I had spoken with Eddie who was actually very friendly on the phone (you'd be surprised how rude some of these people are at the other places I called). He had assured me that they are very meticulous and guaranteed their work. He gave me a great price quote and was very clear on what it was they would do. After a days worth of work on my car I returned to pick up and was very happy with the results. The install was very clean and they where very careful with the fragile wood dash. \r \r Thanks to the guys at Startronics for your great work. I'll be sending all my friends there for sure. Highly recommended. more

Good place for window tinting. 5/22/2007

I found Startronics on City Search and read all the reviews. So I figured I'll give it a try even though I'm close to an hour away. The place is small but dont judge a book by it's cover. I was helped right away. Good service, fast service, and good price. I got my windows tinted. The best thing about this place besides the great service and price is that the job is warraty for life! Parts and Labor! I would say it's worth the trip if you dont live in the area like me. I will go back for more stuffs. Sam, the stuntman. more
