unique eyeglasses, great staff 4/10/2006

For the longest time, I would walk by this shop and salivate over the glasses in the window. This is one place to check if you're looking for unique, rather hip eyeglasses in Austin. Now that I've actually shopped there I can also say the prices are reasonable (for the quality and style they offer). Their staff is absolutely wonderful - they are professional, knowledgable and friendly as well. more

The Nicest Doctor Staff Ever 11/19/2005

I hate going to the doctor. I hate the "which is better: one or two" because I never can tell. But I LOVED Stars In Your Eyes because they used a computer to estimate my prescription and it's the clearest I've ever seen. My contacts are SO much comfortable at the computer and I can wear them all day long without problems. John, the optician is also excellent. He makes the glasses on site and has been in the industry for years. They have over 500 pairs of glasses and I always get compliments on mine. They're downtown on Congress Avenue. more

I have Stars in My Eyes! 11/19/2005

This optical and optometry office opened in 1999 and has been quickly becoming the most popular spot for unique frames and the best eye exams available. They use computers for prescription accuracy and disease checks (no dilation drops needed! Yay!) and the doctors are the nicest, down-to-earth docs I've ever met. The optician really knows his stuff and always remembers me and my taste in glasses. They also did LASIK for my roommate and she's thrilled. Check them out: www.starsinyoureyes.com. more

Very Cool Optical and Eye Doctor Office 10/10/2005

This very cool shop opened in 1999 and is well known downtown for being the friendliest, fastest (stay on schedule) and fun-nest eye glass selection around. The staff is wonderful and always have new products to try. My wife and I did LASIK with Dr. Emily and have been thrilled. We still go for eye health checks and cool sunglasses. I highly recommend them for an Austin experience. more
