DON'T EVER USE THIS CLEANER!! I took 4 new white shirts in to get them pressed and they stained and ruined all four. When I took it back to have them fix it, the older lady there told me I was a liar and that they were already there on the front and back of all four of my shirts. Truth be told the marks were from the iron. That brown stained look that they burnt into the shirts. Will never go there again. Id advise anyone not to go either. There's a great cleaner down the street from it called Kathy's Tailor and Cleaner that are much better and nice. more

I've used Stars Cleaners for over 10 years and have never had a problem. They are very courteous and do a great job. The price per item has gone up a little bit, but still a good bargain. more

Bad: quality. Other: Mr King did not even look at the damage that was done to my new dress, worn once, just walked up and said it was normal wear and tear. If the dress was torn in two places and had oil on the inside of strap next to damage, they would not have attempted to dry clean the dress to begin with. Do not use them, they will not take responsibility for any wrong doing.. more

We have been doing business with Star Cleaners on Mason Road 1 - 2 times per week since they opened 10 - 15 years ago. Star Cleaners charges $1.25 for each item of Dry Cleaning. Starched Shirts are cheaper when brought in with 1 piece of Dry Cleaning ( I think they charge 70 cents for swashing and pressing shirts).The business is owned by a friendly Vietnamese extended family. Their location is the NW corner of Mason Road and Kingsland (facing Mason Road (2 doors from 1 of Katy's 2 bicycle shops). Most customers frequent this cleaners on a regular basis therefore the employees all begin to greet you by name. Our cleaning tickets will be filled in from memory as they quickly learned our names and phone number. When my Father went in with me for the first time everyone came to meet him and instantly connected him to my spouse and I for further dry cleaning pickups! Michele, the owner is an exceptionally good tailor and seamstress. If you have torn, damaged or need alterations on any clothing call ahead and go when she is present. Her work is exceptional.I have seen other women show up holding torn garments stating I was sent here by so and so---if you can't fix this no one can! This is a situation where a family was forced to flee Vietnam and move to the United States. They have made the best of a terrible situation and are a true American success story: A true asset to Katy and the United States! more
