I had my corvette serviced regularly at Starling Chevrolet in Saint Cloud, Florida for seven years. During a service visit Two years ago my hood was damaged, I was not told about any damage but it was immediately visible to me. I informed my Service Advisor who apologized and would ask the techs. After a few days I called and was told there was an ""incident"" in the shop. She informed me the Service Manager said to get some estimates and they would take care of it. I got the estimates but never heard one word from them. I worked nights so the problem was put on a back burner. Now I have the time and went in for service again. I brought up the damage concern again and the new Service Manager said they would not do anything to repair the hood they damaged because it had been too long. Furthermore, she said she did not believe it was done in the service area or the way I thought it was damaged. I told her numerous times the tech who knows what happened is right there in the shop but she ignored my request to ask him. The service Advisor involved is still there but at a different location nearby. No attempt to contact her either. The new Service Manager looked at the damage and told me it didn't happen the way I said. I told her I didn't know because I was not there, but I deducted something was left on the engine and the hood was closed, popping the paint and some fiberglass outward. This new Service Manager said she would do her own investigation and get back with me. Now two days later she calls me and informs me its been too long? Since when does time passing mean you are not responsible for damage done? This new Service Manager was very rude to me and made rude comments about the condition of my car. She never said if she inquired with the tech who knew about the damage or the Service Advisor who also knew about it. She made me feel like I was lying about the whole incident and felt like I had to defend myself when all she had to do is confirm the damage with the employees involved. And my wife is in the market for a new car What a way to treat long time customers! I won't be back and will not recommend anyone go there anymore.
