Best restaurant in town! My wife and I have been going there for as long as I can remember and go there pretty much every chance we get. The plantains are a must.

I guess you can considerate it homemade if cheese dip mix with elbow noodles is a special OR how about cajun burrito, the meat is from the LOWES BBQ you by in the store. WOW that ...

I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. I always get the roast chicken with black beans and plantains. I love it. I do wish that they could more clearly mark the street it sits on. I have a lot of trouble finding it even though I've been there many times. Pros: great food, cheap, casual enviornment Cons: hard to find, limited parking more

I was reluctant to try SD because, quite honestly, it looked so tacky. But we'd heard good things about it, and decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did! SD is a welcome change from the usual burger/steak/wing/rib menu offerings from your average restaurant. If you want to sample Cuban bread, this is the place to go. Their omelets are absolutely outstanding, the chili is fantastic, and their chile rellenos are way better than those served at the Vaquero restaurants. The service is very good, and the food is extremely good value for money. Definitely worth a visit! Pros: Out of the ordinary., Value for money., Good atmosphere. Cons: Parking. more

Great balance of charm and character. Make sure that you beat the church crowd in for Sunday brunch. Great food for a great price. Simply a must if you enjoy authentic Tex/Mex?Caribean cooking. Great flavor, ample portions. more

I visted the Starliner for breakfast. The menu has a decent selection of mexcian and american style breakfast. Also, the resturant usual has 3 or 4 specials in the morning. more

At the Starliner Diner, you can get a great american breakfast or an authentic cuban-mexican breakfast cheap. The kitchen is filled with spanish speaking cooks and the service is friendly and fast. There is no place like this eatery anywhere else. It's quite possibly the best place to eat without beaking the bank. The Best deal in town! 9/20/2002

Ave nae had any dinni experience quite like it. The atmosphere is thick. Don't expect a posh elegant experience. Its a hole in the wall but I would rather eat here than anywhere else in Columbus! THe food is GREAT, and it is a cool, addictive little hole in the wall with friendly service and great prices! Nothing else quite like in the area. Simply stellar cuisine. The chiles rellenos are a meal in themselves, the pasta is delectable, the salad is superb. Basically, if it's on the menu here, you can't go wrong. Service is friendly and casual. Sure, it's a haul to get out here, but if anywhere was ever worth it, Starliner is. more
