Starbucks

I am consistently impressed by this Starbucks. Let me enumerate the ways:\r \r 1) The last time I was there, the Barista offered the firefighters in front of me free coffee after asking them if they voted today. I thought it was a very nice touch to do that to people who are willing to risk their life for the common good. Good PR for Starbucks too! \r \r The ones at my own neighborhood Starbucks I'm sure never offers this policy as I've seen policemen, etc. and they never, ever offer anything for free.\r \r 2) My coffee actually comes hot and clean tasting. Not much to ask for, but this seems to be a big deal at other Starbucks as coffee done elsewhere almost always su#&!\r \r 3) It is convenient for me to visit as it's near the cemetary after me going there to visit my Aunt's grave. more

This is my Starbucks as it's located only a couple of blocks away from work. The other day, I ordered my usual Venti Caramel Macchiato, and thought nothing of it. Well, I did have reservations about the Barista who took forever flirting with the 3 gentlemen ahead of me. I mean wow, he tipped her 2 whole dollars, for crying out loud.\r \r Anyway, 2 of the aforementioned gentlemen got to the counter ahead of me when my drink was called. I thought no big deal, everybody orders the same drinks, right? I look over at the counter and the Barista is no longer making drinks. \r \r I thought to myself (what the?) I tell this young man , ""Excuse me, there is another Venti Caramel Macchiato coming, yes?"" He was stunned at the hutzpa of those people for taking my drink. Me too. \r \r Anyway, he promptly asked me if I wanted an extra shot on my drink for free and that he was making another one, tout de suite. \r \r Good save. Thank you for the customer service! more
