This is authentic and GREAT food! I'm from Thailand, so I would know. Staff James and Yui are super friendly. They even have free delivery to limited area. GO NOW!!!! Hard to find...

This is authentic and GREAT food! I'm from Thailand, so I would know. Staff James and Yui are super friendly. They even have free delivery to limited area. GO NOW!!!! Hard to find location, due to signs being blocked by trees. Just look for Wendy's on the North side, and that's where you turn into the really empty shopping center. It's there, and it's worth it to go. Pros: Great food and portions, friendly staff, quick svc Cons: Hard to find location more

Hidden Thai GEM! 5/21/2008

I've lived in the Denver metro area for about 25 years now and sampled the cuisine of a majority of the Thai, Japanese and Asian restaurants Denver has to offer. Do yourself a favor, go see James at Star Thai. The owners are the chefs, the food is authentic and the price is right. I've eaten at Tommy's, Wild Ginger, Thai Basil, etc. and enjoy them all, but I'm telling you, check out Star Thai, you won't be disappointed!! I Agree - Best Thai in Lakewood 5/18/2005

I agree with Jim01's listing - yeah for the flexible menu, great food, incredibly nice owners and fair prices. Don't let the strip-mall location deter you - Sure the decor inside isn't spectacular but in suburban Lakewood, it's easy to pick up and take home or have delivered. After work, I often pick up dinner here and bring home to central Denver as we haven't found anything this good around us! Pros: Yummy food, Great People, Flexible Menu more

Best Thai Food in Lakewood 9/20/2002

As my wife is Thai, we have been searching for a decent Thai restaurant in Lakewood and finally found it in Star Thai. It's not the fanciest place in town but the couple who run it make up for the decor with their friendly attitudes and excellent food. My wife can order dishes which are not on the menu and most items can be made in a traditional Thai way or modified for Western tastes. They make the best and most authentic Pad Thai that I have had outside of Thailand. Prices are surprisingly low and one does not get hit with extra charges for minor modifications to dishes unlike other restaurants at this end of town. more
