I have tried 3 times to schedule an appointment for a Living Social coupon I purchased for $30, for a manicure/pedicure/massage/eyebrow wax at Star Nails & Spa. Every single time I was told they had no openings.
I called again this week to try and schedule an appointment for today (Saturday) and was told the same thing. So this afternoon, (Saturday) I decided to try a walk-in and see if they had an opening.
I was told they could not do it today and that I would have to come back on Monday. I explained I can't do weekday/night appointments because of work. I looked down at the appointment book on the desk and there was ONE appointment scheduled for the whole day!
At the time I was there, 3 people were getting their nails done and 2 nail technicians were available. I asked about the available tech's and was told they were for walk-ins! I explained I was a walk-in. He just said come back on Monday...again!
I said what if I skip the rest of the services and just get the pedicure! He YELLED at me and told me I had to leave and to come back on Monday...and yes, he actually did yell at me!
will be reporting them to Living Social and hopefully getting a refund. I would not recommend purchasing Living Social or Groupons with them. It seems if they have your money, they will make it almost impossible to redeem your purchase :(
