Seriously you can send me a message for more information if you'd like but, I was fuming with anger when I left. You know what? The ONE good thing about this dealer was that they had many cars in stock that you can pick and choose from, as opposed to other Mitsubishi dealers that almost had no options at all. However that doesn't mean you'll get a good deal.
The minute I walked in through the doors I was greeted by a handsome gentleman by the name of Angelo. He seemed like any other salesperson I've met before - casual, persuasive, laid back, etc. But that was just the start. He introduced us to a man named Tommy Tong who was his "partner." Now this Tommy was dressed in shorts and a janitor's shirt. He was Asian and had a very hard accent. He said he apparently worked there for 8-9 years and was therefore content with working part time. Whatever. We were referred to him for some time from Angelo to momentarily help us. He told us our price, we told them our ideal price in return. What did he say? That's simply not possible. We told him other things, which he blatantly refused to believe insisting that "if he were to do it he can do better." The details are too long to explain. He then walked away and Angelo greeted us once more. He ended up trying to work with us, for which I was very happy with. We had told him our ideal price along with the options we ideally wanted, and he said he'd try to make that happen. All of a sudden Tommy walks back and tells Angelo that he'll take over "because they are orientals and they need to be told the truth, so I'll handle it." Already I was put off.
He proceeded to literally, EDUCATE us about the finances related to buying a car and started treating us like children. After 10 minutes of his nonsense blabbing, I proceeded to argue with him and lashed out at him saying that he was treating us like we were stupid and that NO ONE in their right minds would come to a dealer to buy a car without doing some research first. I then proceeded to question what he and his "partner" were doing because while one was telling us that he'd work with our ideal price, the other (Tommy) was blatantly telling us that it won't happen. He said that he stepped in because he didn't want to lie to us - but WHY WOULD THEY TELL US AND PROMISE US TO TRY TO WORK WITH A PRICE THAT THEY THINK IS UNREALISTIC IN THE FIRST PLACE? Yeah right they didn't want to lie to us all the while playing this game.
In all honesty seriously, you DON'T want to go to this place. They will play the same game with you as they me. They will tell you that they sold 3-4 cars "yesterday and today" when the dealer was EMPTY on a Saturday morning. They are rude - they make you sit in a chair and cut you off mid-sentence to take their personal phonecalls from their cellphones that won't stop ringing loudly. Do not AT ALL try to associate yourselves with this Tommy Tong. He will try to hustle his way through your negotiations, but in the end of the day he will give himself away by contradicting himself.
Take it from me. If you want a good deal and a pleasant experience, you would stay far away from this place for sure. Definitely should be shut down.
