I have gone to the one in Houston but in my opinion this one is the best,We had great service,the sound sistem is very good, and the food is better than some good restaurants We have gone to get finger food in clear lake area, I hope they do great beacuse We needed it a place like this in this area more for adults YOU CAN EVEN GET WINE!!, We had some and it was very good. We've been to Star Cinema Grill twice now. Overall, I was impressed with the theater and it's ""dinner and a movie"" concept. We were able to get good seats 15 minutes before the show started on a Saturday night. The theater's sound quality and views of the screen were comparable to any other theater in town. However, they have a few kinks to work out in their service. The first time we were there, it took quite awhile to get our food, and when they brought it, it was the wrong order. When they brought the correct order, the side items were incorrect and had to be sent back. The second time we were there, we got our drinks and appetizer promptly, but our meals didn't show up until I notified our waiter 3/4 of the way through the movie. This is the only movie theater my husband and I will go to anymore. The food is good, the movie selection is good, but the thing we enjoy the most is the atmosphere. Children under eighteen must be accompanied by a parent and must sit with the parent during the movie. I enjoy being able to watch a movie now without having teenagers running from screen to screen, talking on their cell phones during the movie and just being disruptive. They also encourage turning off your cell phones prior to entering the movie. It has been an excellent experience. Pros: Atmosphere, Food, Service Cons: No stadium seating more

This is a great way to enjoy the movies! Our waitress was excellent, had a great attitude and took the time to explain how everything works. No concession stand to wait in line for, they bring everything to you! We thought the prices were reasonable and the portions were appropriate, it's about what we would have paid if we had gone to Chili's before the movie. The mushroom and cheese quesadillas were very good. We had to scale down the order for our main course because the appetizer was much larger than we expected. While living in Atlanta, we had the CinemaGrill Drafthouse. We loved this place! The movies they carried were ""second run"", meaning they'd been out for a few months, but this brought the ticket price down to about $2.50, which worked well seeing as you were probably going to be spending money on food and beer. The food was good, wide selection of beer, and smoking was allowed on one side. Star has extremely mediocre food, like they bought it at SAM's and overcooked it.
