I had the worst experience in Stapes Watsonville CA with a person on the floor helping me get information to repair my Samsung Camcorder that was purchased else where and is not available to go to in this area. I asked the attendant to find a number for Samsung or at least a web page since they would not repair the item at that store because they did not sell that item to me. (understandable) so he finds the Samsung dealer and repair center that is out of LA. The supervisor of Tech support tells his floor person not to give me the information I needed and was unable to track down on my own. (Hence the reason I was there in the first place)
He states that if he gave me the information and the repair center damaged or lost the item then Staples could be held responsible for directing me to them.
What kind of BS is this?
So if I come across an accident and call 911 to render aid to a person struck by a car lets say. Medical arrives and takes the poor guy to the nearest hospital. Then Dr. Kevorkian help the guy into the mortuary and then the family can turn around and sue me because I referred medical attention to his side. Next time I will throw him a band-aid, cell phone and an aspirin and say, I am not giving them to you I am leaving them at your side what you do with them is totally up to you.
so the guy has to dial with his tongue because his fingers are broken.
