We met Dr. Derik for the first time today and he was wonderful. Jack Jack doesn't like many men and there was no problems at all. Dr. Derik took the time to treat Jack Jack and help me to understand how to help him with recurring hotspots. Our family has a new friend. more

Dr. Kelso has been our vet for 20 years. My wife took her first little dog to Dr. Kelso and we've used him ever since. As a trainer I have been responsible for multiple dogs and have needed his expertize for everything from routine shots to OFA x-rays. Dr. Kelso is great with the animals and patient when answering all our questions. I could not imagine using anyone else! more

Dr. Kelso is amazing. I had a cat for 18 years that wouldn't let many people close to her. Somehow, he totally won her over. His bedside manner is so sweet and calming, not to mention his over all disposition.\r A true professional, and a kind soul. more

I have been going to Stanton now for 3 years and they are absolutely wonderful!!! Dr. Symonds never tires of questions and she always remembers to ask about me personally. That is amazing with the amount of people she interacts with and the fact that she sees us twice a year. I highly recommend this animal hospital. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my two dogs! more

I have used Stanton Animal Hospital since 1991 and they are the best out there. I have interacted with all the doctors at the hospital and I have never had an issue with any of them over the years. \r \r Dr. Derrick was with me when I had to put my best friend Sylvester down after a tick infected with the Bobcat virus bit him. \r \r Dr. Leach was very patient with me when I called him in for an emergency late at night with a young female cat that was obviously trying to pass something when she was squatting down on her front legs with her back legs and tail high in the air, grunting as loud as she could. When I got him there he started hurriedly examining her and then looked me in the eye and said she wasn't passing anything, she was in heat.\r \r Dr. Symonds has helped me many time over the years even with my mean cat named Sampson. She is as caring and competent as she is attractive.\r \r So not only are the doctors great, they have some great eye-candy too! more

Dr. Leach is our vet and he is wonderful!! We are moving and I hate to have to switch vets, it is worth the drive just to have him work with our dogs. One dog had to have a surgery and he was so kind and explained everything to us, even called to check to make sure he was doing good everyday!!! THEY ARE WONDERFUL THERE!!! more

My Boxer Jackson ate a toy that created a full blockage in his small intestine. Our regular Vet was out of the office for the week and unavailable and we went to Stanton Animal Hospital. They were GREAT. They immediately did the surgery, the doctor visited with us and was very direct about the situation, they were available for any questions we had, and checked on him after keeping our dog for a couple of days to make sure that he would at least make it through the surgery experience. \r \r They have been wonderful and I highly recommend them. more

This is the only place I will bring our animals. The staff and doctors are great. I have recommended them to several people all who are equally as impressed. The doctors are concerned and very informative. They even offer boarding and we will only trust them with our pets. They make you feel like family! PROS: Friendly, Caring CONS: none more
