I wanted to take advantage of Austin's rebate program and Stan's was one of the approved companies. They did a great job of explaining the program, walked us through the payment options and totally facilitated the process on my behalf. The best part is that the program worked exactly as Stan's said it would. Their work was superior, their follow up extra-ordinary and, most importantly, every person they sent to our house was polite, professional and knowledgeable. Example: When the city inspector found a problem, the dryer vent exhaust went into the AC units, he wanted the AC units moved (!). Stan's foreman went to Home Depot, bought the supplies and re-routed the vent to an acceptable location. It looked great and the inspector approved. \r \r If you're looking for a company that knows what they're doing, tells you what they're going to do and then actually does it correctly the first time, call Stan's. They have my highest recommendation. more

Polite and quick routine checks 6/3/2013

We have had Stan's Heating and Air Conditioning out twice and they deserve five stars. We had them out to check our heating in the fall and we had never used them before. They came out and looked at our A/C also but did another check on it in the spring when it would be used. They have done a good job, and we have a filter up in the attic that needs to be vacuumed and we don't like to get on a ladder in the attic so they do it for us. They are polite and the work doesn't take long with them. more

We've used them for around 10 years and they have always done a good job for us. We just had the heating and AC checked by them, the young man that came here was very nice but he was very young. I am not sure if he checked all of the things that we have had checked in the past. I've signed up for one of their maintenance packages and so they service my AC in the spring and my heating in the fall. It makes it easy for me to be sure that everything is working properly before I REALLY need it. They are always prompt in showing up for the appointment and exhibit a high degree of professionalism. I haven't had to have anything repaired as of yet, but if/when that happens, I won't hesitate to call them! more

Great, local service 4/8/2013

Stan's Heating and Air Conditioning works on my two heating and air conditioning units. I had been using Chris Strand when he worked for a different company, and Chris originally installed my upstairs unit. When he moved to own this new company, I followed him there. I have them twice a year to check my unit so when they sold out to this other company, I wanted to keep using Chris Strand because he is local and great. Honest service. more

We previously had service from another company we used in the Austin area. We used them for years, and had some really bad problems with them. We asked Stan's for a second opinion, and decided to go with them. The difference is unbelievable. They are very professional and we have used them three times now. more

Great job. 4/1/2013

Prior to the sale of our home we needed to have some repairs done to our HVAC system. James came out to our home numerous times and did an excellent job of completing our "to do" list. It was nice having someone in our home we could trust, and the work he did was great. My only regret is that we didn't use James to install our HVAC system two years ago. more

I've used Stan's Heating and Air Conditioning for several years now. My house is getting older and they recommend only what I need. If I'm not ready for a big investment they fix things to buy me more time. Their advice is always accurate. Stan's is professional, prompt, and keeps their appointments. more

Knowledgeable, courteous techs. 3/5/2013

We've been here for around 10 years and we've used them for that period of time. They used to replace our air filters and do an inspection twice a year. Now they just do the inspections. Scheduling with easy with them. The technicians are courteous and knowledgeable. They have taken care of things they've found while they are here. more

Excellent in every step of the transaction process from initial consultation to follow up after installation 2/19/2013

All personnel have been knowledgable, friendly, and prompt. My experience involved a replacement ac/furnace in a propane access environment. The recommendation was a heat pump with propane backup which is more efficient and economical than the 12 year old system it replaced. The company employees were professional throughout process including the company scheduled follow up inspections months after installation to insure the system is performing correctly and as promised. Very satisfied! more

We have them come out at least twice a year as part of a service contract. There's also been a few times when we've had repairs done by them. They installed the systems in our house 14 years ago, so it's been a long relationship. more

I have used Stan's Heating and Air Conditioning for eight years. I have the Gold Service, so every spring they service my A/C and every fall they service my heater. They are quick, clean, do the job, and leave. I am happy with their service. more
