My boyfriend, his sister, and myself who are in ages 30-35 went to Stan's Caravan on Saturday night. We just wanted to listen to some live country music. I was told by a co-worker that is was great. We walked in, went to the bar, where Connie rudly checked our ID's. She then accused my future sister in law of her ID being IFFY... Its real, just from AZ. We were the yougest in the place. She reluctantly served us a beer. She was so incredibly rude about it that my boyfriend asked if she needed a beer? He would get her one. She then as snotty as possible said ""I don't drink on the job"" and rudly walked away. While she walked away my boyfriend said ""maybe she should"" to us...well she heard him and said ""Finish your beers and get out"" Then she ignored us the rest of the time. So while finishing our beers she chatted rudly about us to the other patrons. We finished and left. We are not sure what her problem was. We are guessing our age. We in no way wanted to start trouble or anything else. So instead of receiving the best tip she has probably received in a few years by just being okay, we left her nothing. She deserved it. I have worked in the bar industry and would have been fired on the spot for the way she treated us.
Pros: Live Country Music
Cons: Connie the Bartender
