French Fries That Will Blow Your Mind 9/28/2006

From the outside it looks like any other Ventura Boulevard restaurant but behind those mustard-colored walls is an eaterie with the best dang french fries ever. Stanley's is great for families, business meetings or a quick lunch. Typical American fare includes excellent rotisserie chicken, salads, a mean turkey burger, amazing home made soups and don't forget them french fried 'taters. Dine inside or on the patio - it's all good. Great service, lots of warm sourdough bread and the occasional star sighting (David Cassidy and the guy who was Worf on Star Trek NG) make this place a winner. more

Looking for a variety of choices... 8/19/2005

Stanley's Restaurant offers a variety of menu choices from salads to entrees. The prices vary, but the quality is worth it. They offer outside seating, but smoking is allowed-so for all the non-smokers be vary wary of the beautiful outside dining. They offer high chairs, but this place is not the most kid friendly restaurant. They will make room for children and families, but it's not a place for young children. Parking is kind of tricky. They offer valet parking at a set rate, and have the option of street parking. Ventura Blvd. offen gets very busy, so allow enough time if you are meeting others. Stanley's has been around for years, and has a great reputation. They have many choices also for alcohol. There is a bar area, as well as the dining area. The desserts are very good, and offer the highest quality. This place is a must go! Enjoy! more
