Nice outdoor mall, but the stores the same old stuff 11/3/2005

Stanford Shopping Center used to have some unique stores. Now they have the same stuff as Hillsdale and Valley Fair. They've driven out a lot of the more reasonable places and gone way high end. Did you know they used to have a Woolworth's where Banana Republic is now? Food choices are limited as the mall does not have a food court. They are opening a new CPK Express soon though. It's a shame that they got rid of Fresh Choice, it was one of the few toddler friendly places. more

Unique stores, expensive taste 9/9/2005

A wonderful array of unique stores not found in other Bay Area malls for those with expensive taste. Department stores including Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales and Macy's. Additionally, there is also a Stanford apparel store with all the Stanford gear you could want. The selection is great, and is geared more towards the older, more sophisticated crowd but still a wonderful outdoor mall. more
