Well, I guess I came at the wrong time on the wrong night. It was a Monday, 6:00. The place was pretty much empty (which is more than fine), and there was a 20 something ""kid"" behind the bar. There are a lot of specialty taps at Standings, and he had no knowledge of any of them. He stood there expressionless, it was actually uncomfortable, so I just ordered the first tap that caught my eye. Whatever I ordered cost $6, so I guess happy hour prices are not really much of a discount. I was about to inquire about a ""special"" sign that said ""free sausage & pepper heros tonight from 6-8"" or something to that effect, but figured I'd better not. The tables and chairs were a mess, the lights were like a construction zone. There are plenty of TVs, and an interesting tap selection, and maybe under different circumstances it would be a cool place.
Pros: interesting beer selection, lots of TVs
Cons: incompetant service, very bright, happy hour not so happy
