I was in a hurry to get contacts. They fitted me in for an appointment the same morning I called and they had the contact prescription I needed. It could not have gone any better.

Worst

They over charged me refused to work with me so I called cooperate then they said they had refunded it to my card so after a week of watching I had to call them back. What a mess....

Bad Experience 8/12/2014

Scam 5/19/2011

Salesperson said the lenses were $80, but when I looked at the total, it was $40 higher. He said we were required to pay an extra $20 for each of two features. I told him he ought to have been up front about that, and he invited us to go elsewhere and said he didn't care one way or the other whether he got our business. This was right after he said he was just trying to help us. I will never recommend this company, because of its dishonesty to customers. more

Terrible experience. Lots of problems and they would not issue a refund when it was their fault. I would not go back here. more

A great value! 9/28/2005

Standard Optical is a great value! They usually have specials where you can get an eye exam and two pairs of glasses for $69.99. They have a wide selection of glasses, and the ones that are a part of the special are not cheesy or ugly glasses that you would never wear which is what many other places do to try to get you to spend more money. They take appointments for exams and work with a variety of insurance companies and also offer discounts if you don't have insurance. Their associates will take their time with you helping you find a pair of glasses that is perfect for you. more
