it's not just the insurance company, but also the agent and agency that assure proper coverage. During storm Irene, I called in a claim for spoilage. The Nationwide rep. was there in two days, check in hand! Many of my fellow business owners were not covered for Business income loss for "Widespread" power outage. Just if their building alone was without power. My agent assured that I was fully covered for widespread power loss, and after minimal paperwork, it took 7 days for me to receive a check for over $11,000.00. A great experience considering the bad situation, and I highly recommend John Cody at Stamford Insurance group.
