Stagnaro is more of an "institution" of the Santa Cruz wharf than a restaurant. If you've never been, you really should make a point to try it out. The views are spectacular and the chowder is excellent. It's also a great place to purchase fresh fish. more

  • Stagnaro Brothers is a seafood restaurant, retail market and wholesale fish delivery company, located in Santa Cruz, Calif. The restaurant is located at the outer end of the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf in Santa Cruz. It features a menu with more than 20 different types of fresh seafood, as well as pasta dishes, steaks and a children s menu. Its fish market has been in operation since 1937 and sells fresh and frozen fish on the wharf. The company s delivery area covers Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito counties in California.
