Ms. Alaine is the Acting instructor, private dance and acting coach and the owner of S.T.A.G.E. Performing Arts School LLC. As well as a teacher for the TPSD Talented Theatre Gifted and Talented Education and Mary's School of Dance. Ms. Alaine is a graduate of Northwestern State University with a bachelor degree in Theatre of Performing Arts and a Minor in Dance. Extra certification include: dance teachers , ancillary, and stage combat with rapier, dagger, quarterstaff, and unarmed Stage fighting from the National American Fighters Association. Ms. Alaine's experience as a teacher began as a dance instructor for Mary's School of Dance in Bourg and Susan Hussey's Talent Inc. in Alexandria, Louisiana. Alaine's professional career began as a choreographer for the musicals Oklahoma and Guys and Dolls in Alexandria, La. Her acting career began at the Horn in The West Theatre Company in Boone, North Carolina as she starred as the lead fire dancer, singer, actor, and stage combatant. Alaine furthered her career in Los Angeles, CA where she worked for Miramax films and Raleigh Studios. A few of Alaine's on camera experiences include: The Wedding Crashers, Be Cool, In Good Company, 24, a Yellow card video, and KIA Commercial. Alaine's most recent shows at the Bayou Playhouse are, Mulan (Choreographer and Program Coordinator), Beauty and The Beast Junior (Director and Choreographer), The Trial of The Big Bad Wolf (Choreographer and Under Study), And They All Lived (Director). Her Vandebilt productions as choreographer are Fiddler on the Roof, Sound of Music, and Little Women. As the talented theatre teacher her shows include: Locked In (Director, 2013 District and State Competition Winner), Running Up Stream (Director, 2014 District and State Competition Winner), Can You Hear Them Crying (Director), and My So Called Life (Director). Alaine is also a proud member of Vision Christian Center. She looks forward to sharing her love of the art of acting and dance with her students..
