My Dad took me here on the way to the Traverse City Airport, to catch an early flight taking me back home to Dallas. It was early on a Sunday morning, and the place was relatively empty when we got there, but filled up pretty fast.
Neither one of us had ever been here before, so we ordered the two-egg breakfast and were not disappointed. His came with lots of bacon (although a lot of it seemed like ends and pieces) with eggs over easy. I had the scrambled with sausage, because I love the breakfast sausage back home.
Both were cooked just right and came with home fries and toast. Great coffee was available with half and half (perfect!). I believe the entire check was under $10.
Probably the only thing that bothers me about Manistee restaurants is that everyone (OK a lot of people) still smoke heavily. And the smoking and non-smoking sections aren't well-defined.
