The setting is a multi-million dollar sports memorabilia collection and a must-see destination for fans of any sport. No matter where you sit, there is something fascinating to look at. And don't forget to look up at the displays on the gorgeous ceilings. As for the food, that's the best news. The pub-style menu is far better than what you might expect at a theme restaurant. The head chef really knows what he is doing, whether he is presenting a juicy steak or an inventive salad. This must be why patrons drive here from as far south as NYC and as far north as Poughkeepsie. The drinks range from excellent to OK, depending on who is tending the bar, and the service is often forgetful. Lunchtime is quiet and reservations are unnecessary, but, on most nights, especially when big games are on TV, the place is jam-packed. more

The Stadium has a nice food selection, from burgers to fancier entrees. The food has always been good when I've eaten there and the drinks, the waitstaff keeps 'em flowing. However, it's the massive sports memorabilia collection that draws people in. It's hard to believe that a private collector in this area has amassed this serious a level of valuable sports history. I never thought I could see a Mickey Mantle-signed baseball while eating a cheeseburger, but I can at the Stadium. more
