St Thomas Thrift Shop

Great service. Although I am a volunteer, I feel like I am a part of the shop too. The workers make me feel welcome and guided me through the process in a kind way. I also acknowledge that there are many deals especially since there are sales and I'm just glad to be able to speak about this place the way I have experienced.\r \r tl;dr\r I enjoy volunteering at this place. more

GREAT THRIFT SHOP!!\r I worked here as a volunteer back in high school and they treated me as if i was one of their own. Always smiling and always willing to answer any questions. i highlt reccomend this place for high school community service hours. \r As a store this place this shop tops all the others. I occasionally volunteered at this store and in talking with a number of other volunteers, I found they shared my feelings. While most of the staff was friendly and welcoming, one older woman (a part time employee) made us feel unwelcomed. Some of my fellow volunteers will not even come back while she is working. From what we witnessed, this same woman did very little work except to run to management every time she thought someone was doing something wrong. It's a shame that this woman has made us feel this way. The other employees (Cora, Kristen and Kay) are great to work with and make us feel that we are helping. Anyway, just my opinion. more

The prices are good because they have 1/2 price sales daily. I go a few times a month and find pretty good sales. They only problem they dont have a place to try on clothes and dont give refunds. more

This place is very unorganized and the prices are WAY too high. They do this because they have 1/2 off sales, so you think you are getting a deal, but still way too much! I got cut in front of in line when it was my turn at the register and the lady at the register just shrugged, so I dropped my items, grabbed my kids, and left. They were also rude to my children who were behaving themselves, but they told them not to touch the toys?? Come on! Cons: Overpriced, horrible customer service, unorganized more

Went there yesterday and found a cute dress for my daughter. It had no tag as did a lot of items in the store. They said they could not sell it to me because it would have to be tagged. I asked if it would be tagged by tomorrow and she said yes. I came back today (another $4.11 in gas) and it was not there. The same lady checked the back and said it would be another hour because the lady had a huge pile of clothes to price. I asked it it could be pulled from teh pile and tagged now because I drove all the way back and was willing to buy it now. She said no. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I will never shop here again and am telling all my friends to do the same. I will also never donate items here because clearly they do not care about making money to support their mission. I hope they go out of business soon! Pros: interesting item Cons: could not buy it more

This store has fun costume jewelry, some high quality clothing hidden among the racks, and we found a pair of very nice never-worn men's shoes for $3.00! Fun place to ""treasure hunt"". more
