I have been going to St Stanislaus for 15 years, since my family moved to Pleasant Valley. St Stan's has a very nice community of people that attend there. The Religious Education program is very effective. The music program has been shaky since the retirement of the beloved organist, Cora, but the introduction of the "Folk Group" (name to be changed soon) has begun to change that. This choir has a tendency to get people on their feet and singing and clapping, providing the background for a spiritual experience. As of now, though, they only sing at one mass per weekend, so the music at the other 3 masses is not always as upbeat. The choir also sings at HV Renegades games every summer.
