St. Peter's Urgent Care Clinics are walk–in medical facilities for the treatment of non–life threatening injuries and illness. An appointment is never required, and staff is committed to providing immediate and competent medical services.
The clinic offers high quality, walk–in family medical care for minor illnesses, physicals, and return to work releases. Urgent Care has access to all hospital resources.
The clinic also provides services such as pre–employment and sports program physicals, drug screenings, and inoculations for those traveling abroad.
The clinic is staffed by a physician's assistant, a nurse practitioner, licensed practical nurses, and other professional staff, all of whom have experience working in the emergency department. A physician to treat walk–in patients is on location seven days a week.
Urgent Care is an alternative to the Hospital's emergency room and a private physician's office. Most major insurance plans are accepted. Patients are responsible for either a co–pay or the charges.
