I was recently transferred from Tampa fl to manhattan ny. It was a last minute opportunity that I was not about to pass up. I was so excited about my transfer/promotion from tampa to NYC that I began my search for movers/online estimates ASAP. Huge mistake! Do not fill out online moving estimate forms! Ugh. My phone began ringing off the hook in addition to 20-30 email solicitations a day. My advice is stick with a name you know and trust! Mayflower St. Pete Moving & Storage, as corny as it sounds saved the day. My wife and I used Mayflower 20 years ago when we moved from San Francisco ca. To Tampa fl. We googled the number for Mayflower transit and they put us in touch with St. Pete moving & storage. Our move went Perfectly! As did my promotion. YP says to leave a review as if you are talking to a friend. That having been said, don't fill out online moving estimate forms. You will regret it. Good luck! while they may be able to handle a simple move as indicated above, St. Pete Mayflower was totally incompetent for our complicated move. every step was botched 1) the packing was sloppy at best (a dozen lampshades were torn or destroyed) 2) improper storage and handling of furniture resulted in breaking and chipping of many fine antiques ( a BOX of broken parts was delivered with my furniture) 3) shipping dates were always changing and never communicated 4) My BIG COMPLAINT is that the agents at St. Pete Moving & Storage and at Mayflower Corporate Headquarters were unhelpful, dismissive, and rude. I expected more from a nationally affiliated moving company. I was extremely disappointed! more

my wife and I recently moved from St. Petersburg, Fl to Chicago, Il. We received 2 other estimates before making our decision. St. Pete Mayflower was the right decision for us. Good price, friendly staff, prompt delivery and no damage. more
