Small town Catholic church 9/3/2005

St Nicholas church has been around forever. It is a wonderful Catholic Church with a Catholic elementary school attached. The church is very large and beautiful. The church has been remodeled several times, but it still has that nostalgic feel to it. The services are nice and easy to sit through. The parishioners are friendly and welcome newcomers to their church. It has a great location in the center of town. The church has limited parking, but there is street parking available and some other small parking lots nearby. more

Beautiful Church 8/21/2005

St. Nicholas Church in Freedom Wi is a small church when compared to some, but not too small. It has lost seating since the remodeling though. Because it is located in a small town there is always enough seating for everyone. Especially with the multiple mass times offered. The church has an open stairway up to a beautiful fountain and the church. The church has stained glass pictures as the windows which have been there forever, along with a domed antique ceiling. These really add to the beauty of the church. more

Catholic Church 8/13/2005

St Nicholas Church is an older church, but it has had a lot of remodeling throughout the years. From the outside, you can tell that the building has been there for years. From the inside, they have added a lot of modern touches. They have a very small baby room in the back that is equipped with it's own restroom. This church is located in a very small, predominately Catholic community. When you are in this church, you can feel the closeness and friendliness of the people around you. The services are nice. They usually have some sort of instrument playing (ie organ, guitar, etc). more

Beautiful Church 8/7/2005

Saint Nicholas Church has been remodelef over the years since it is a very old church. It has lost some of the charm in the remodeling that the old church pocessed. It is still a very nice church though. Stained glass pictures on the walls, high domed ceiling, beautiful fountain in the back of the church. Along with the charm, it lost some of the seating, but there is still enough for most masses. The people there are friendly, which is expected in a small community where everyone knows everyone else. more

Old but Updated 8/7/2005

St. Nicholas Church is very old, but has been remodeled in the recent years. The remodeling has taken away some of the space and seating the church once had, as well as some of the feel from the old church. It has made the church seem new and nice looking though. The alter is no longer in the front, but almost in the middle. There is seating on both sides and in front, but nothing in back. The church is open inside, which allows some light into it. The front gathering area is quite large and has beautiful stairways up to the fountain. more
