Jesus was zealous to see that His Father's house be a house of prayer. Here at St. Matthew we have always had a strong foundation of prayer and now we have increased the opportunity for us to join together in prayer. We are opening the Sanctuary and inviting people to join us for prayer devotionals during the week. The Prayer Room is open every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Please feel free to come and go as you please. We invite you to bring your Bible, devotional books, and writing material so you can make the most out of this time of prayer.
St. Matthew United Methodist Church is a loving part of God's family called to offer Jesus Christ by:
*Seeking, welcoming and accepting those in need
*Encouraging one another through prayer and fellowship
*Training and sending out disciples as instructed through scriptures
"I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "Plans to prosper you no t to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - (Jeremiah 29:11)
