I have been going to this restaurant located in a historic home since I was a little girl. Personally, I think that their Mexican food is underrated. On the other hand, I like that it is not well know because it keeps a down home feel to it. The food is amazing and the portions are enough to fill me up for a couple of hours. Buy some of their tortillas and you will not regret it! Hell, buy a ton and put them in the freezer for future meals (just try repeating their food!) There is some outdoor seating, but it is not the type of place that most people sit down at. If you are looking for groceries, Anita's is also a market. The salsa is great!
Most people do not know about this market/restaurant because it is tucked within a neighborhood. Be sure to check driving directions.
Pros: Inexpensive, Not crowded, Homey atmosphere
Cons: Smaller portions, Hard to find
