St Marks Lutheran Church

I had to leave this church when the lead pastor became skeptical of my bible interpretations. We'll see who has the last laugh when Jesus comes back to bring me home. It's going to happen, and only good lutherans will find a place next to the throne. The lord has come to me with visions of when the tides are high on July 3rd, his Holiness will sweep me away in a rapturous trumpet blast and a mighty stamping of hooves and gnashing of teeth. more

I think the review above must have been posted by a disgruntled neighbor who's is just upset about the changes to the parking lot that is coming! What a shame to write untruths about a great Lutheran church that is so welcoming to everyone! I find this church to be a great neighborhood church that fits beautifully in this great neighborhood! The church has been in this location for over 60 years, and has a beautiful large sanctuary! The members were very welcoming and I loved the wide range of ages. Lots of activities for all, especially my children! I know first hand that this church has an active food program for the needy in Spokane, and many volunteer opportunities to serve the homeless. I am shocked that Cindy Reynolds said that this church doesn't care about the neighbors in Spokane when that is one of their primary focuses! Again, I am convinced it is a disgruntled neighbor who needs to re-evaluate her motives. Just for record...the pastor did not divorce his wife because she had MS. That is ridiculous. If you had been a member you would have known that SHE left him. more

Please don't go to this church - they have proven time and again that they don't follow the advice and teachings of our Lord. more
