For over 30 years, I have found St Joseph's to be a kind and welcoming parish, where members actively practice their faith, taking the word "Worker" literally. The paster adheres to the church teachings of social justice. This is reflected in parishoners' running of the local food pantry, help to Oxford House,Francis House, Eastern Farm Workers, after school tutoring, to name a few.I like the way this is not the church of my youth, where all you did was sit in the pew. Now parishoners can,if they choose, have a role in shaping the church and living their faith. There is also a very strong Religious education program for children and adults, along with socializing opportunites too.
