St. Joseph Center Thrift Store

i am 62 yr an old female . i have gone for the last 14 yrs to St Joseph center for help. BUT I NEVER RECEIVED ANY HELP. REALLY IT WAS WAIST OF TIME AND LIFE TO DEAL WITH ST. JOSEPH CENTER(FRAUD). THE LAST 15 YEARS I HAVE BEEN THERE TO GET HELP FOR a job or some education help or EVEN food. but i never received it. I have became homeless for more than a year. i went to St Joseph for help during Christmas but i never got a help. i asked if i could get some food but they told me come back and it was waist of time and money to get there for nothing. i am got sick and couldnt breath so i asked the St Joseph i am very sick and they told me just wait and i never got any help. Why THE FEDERAL AND ALL THESE PEOPLE HELPING TO ST JOSEPH TO MAKE A BEAUTIFUL BUILDING BUT NO HELP. I THINK ST. JOSEPH IS ONLY FOR CERTAIN PEOPLE . ONCE I TRIED TO GET SOME FOOD BUT THE LADY WHO SPEAKS SPANISH DIDNT LET ME TO HAVE FOOD AND ONLY TOOK IT FROM ME AND GAVE IT TO THOSE SPEAK SPANISH. WHAT SUCH A SCAM THAT ALL OF THESE MONEY ARE SPEND FOR ST. JOSEPH BUT THEY DONT DO ANY HELP. I KNOW THAT AFTER DEALING WITH THEM FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS. NO WANDER THAT SO MANY HOMELESS ARE IN LA AND VENICE AREA CAUSE PLACES LIKE ST. JOSEPH TAKING ALL OF THESE MONEY BUT NOT HELPING ANY ONE. WHERE THE MONEY GOES? ST. JOSEPH CENTER FOR SURE NOT HELPING SOME PEOPLE . THEY NEVER HELPED ME AND MAY BE THEY HELPING ONLY CERTAIN PEOPLE POTHERS AND NOT HELPING ANY HOME LESS PEOPLE. I WISH THIS COMES TO ATTENTION SO ANY ONE NOTICE THAT SOME OF THESE AGENCY SUCH OF ST. JOSEPH TAKING THE MONEY FOR THEM SELF NOT HELPING ANY ONE. THE ST JOSEPH SPEND SO MUCH MONEY ( 40 MILLION OR MORE) JUST MAKE AN EXPENSIVE AND BEAUTIFUL BUILDING ONLY FOR THEM SELF NOT HELPING POOR, HOMELESS AND JOBLESS AMERICANS more

I used to frequent the store further up on Lincoln Ave. and found some great stuff. Even after my financial circumstances changed for the better, I continued to frequent the store. I almost always brought in a bag of stuff to donate each time. I never got a chance to visit the new location, mostly because I spotted it after I'd decided to relocate to Chicago - so was getting rid of nearly everything.
