St. Joan of Arc Parish 2/23/2006

St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church is located in the middle of residential Lisle and is right across the street from the Lisle Library. When my wife and I moved into the area, we picked this parish because we liked both the priests and the parishioners. The inside of the church is really plain, and it sports one of those huge immersion baptismal fonts. There are plenty of Masses to choose from, but be aware that the Saturday evening Mass is quite early (4 pm). more

A church that feels like home 1/28/2006

After searching through the numerous Catholic churches within an easy drive when we first moved into the area, St. Joan of Arc was our favorite by far. They have Mass on both Saturday afternoon and several on Sunday morning, not to mention weekday liturgy and a 24-hour chapel of the Blessed Sacrament. The church itself is very modern, but I've found their seasonal decoration to be tasteful and not tacky. The staff and clergy are very friendly, and their parish center is quite extensive. We're happy to have found this parish, and I hope you might consider it as well. more

Local Catholic Church 8/12/2005

St. Joan of Arc is our local Catholic Church. They have served the community for many years. There is also a Catholic school which is highly respected for provided an excellent education. On Saturdays, they hold education classes for children who do not attend the Catholic school. My children went through the program and it was very good. Stop in when you are in the area,you will be welcomed. more
