Bait and switch 2/6/2012

Good: Nothing. Bad: You go to urgent care and since I had diarrhea a couple of days ago they say I need an IV which requires emergency room visit where you wait forever and get charged an arm and leg. Improvements: STOP tricking you into er care. Other: Waconia does not trick you nor charge you double, better nurses and doctors. more

OUTRAGES PRICES !!! 1/3/2012

OUTRAGES PRICES !!! St. Francis Emergency room visit charged TWICE as much as Waconia Ridgeview Medical Center for the same type of procedure !!! (foreign object in the eye) This cost was AFTER insurance deduction at St. Francis and while NO insurance coverage was used at Ridgeview. I will be using Ridgeview's services from now on. more

It all depends on the Doc on duty. 5/1/2010

I have had some good exp. and some really bad ones when I went into St. Franny. When I went in once with an infection in my hand due to a puncture wound the doc was excellent in seeing my problem and got me patched up and out the door. While on another occasion I went in because I had tennis elbow I was treated like a drug seeker when all I went in asking for was what is causing my problem. I just wish there was more consistency for I have now decided to drive the extra 30mins to go to my old hospital when I need ER treatment and for that matter my old clinic up in Minnetonka. more

I won't go anywhere else! 9/8/2005

My boyfriend and I both live in Shakopee, and bot have have been dealing with medical problems the past couple of years. I've been seen at several different hospitals during my life, and I have to say, I've never been treated as well as I am at this one. The doctors and staff are always very helpful. I've never felt like I'm being a nuisance or asking too many questions. They take care of me and my family quickly and professionally. I feel more comfortable at this hospital than any other. And to top it all off, it's always clean and fairly quiet, which I think is such a blessing when you're not feeling well. more

poor service.. 9/6/2005

I went to this medical center because it's the closest one to my house. It's a good place for medical but the doctors and nurses disappoint me , I felt insulted by a OB/GYN's doctor once and I will never go back again, some time a good medical center need to have doctors and nurses that care and listen to the need of their patients. more

Great Hospital 8/6/2005

St. Francis Regional Medical Center is a great hospital. They provide wonderful care, it is clean, kept up to date, and the staff is wonderful. I have received excellent care I have been there. Even though I moved farther away, I still keep it as my hospital. It is a little longer drive, but well worth it. They make you feel at home while you are staying there. more
