So is the food good? YES! Is the meat tender? ABSOLUTELY! And the sauce is killer; if you get a rib sandwich, have them wrap the bread separate. Desserts are premium (mmmmmm, peach cobbler....) but beware, they do run out. The only caveat is that this is a bit of a rough neigborhood, but everyone in line is there for the 'cue. After you've had this barbecue, you'll make up reasons to come back!!! more

Best barbecue anywhere in Miami 6/26/2006

The lines get long on Friday and Saturday nights so you may have to go before 6:00pm if you are picking up dinner. They also have pork souse that will make you ask your Mama why she never told you about this place! You have to experience this barbecue if you go to Miami! Pros: Excellent Barbecue Cons: I've never visited the church for service but if they worship like they cook, watch out! more
