The Rehabilitation Services Department offers physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy services to its patients. Here the staff aims to restore patients to an independent functioning level, reduce pain and improve their quality of life as they recover or adjust to their condition. Rehabilitative efforts are coordinated with any other medical or surgical care the patient is currently receiving. It is the goal of this department to allow the patient to take an active, informed role in the management of his or her care.
Through purposeful activity, occupational therapists assist patients in maximizing their independence and ability to return to a productive and satisfying lifestyle.
