when I lived in North Miami Beach I lived pretty close to this beautiful building and gardens..This Monastery was originally built in Spain in the 12th century and brought over here piece by piece...The old stone building is a fascinating and unusual sight to see so close to a big city and is a a stunning display of architecture..The gardens surrounding the building are lovely to stroll though with benches to sit and ponder how they could bring an ancient building like this to Miami and put it together like they did...I for one am very happy they did!
