Good: I love the staff here. Everyone is so kind and caring. They take the time to get to know my children and my family. The teachers are all 4 year degree in early childhood ed....

Wonderful, High Quality Care 11/4/2009

Good: I love the staff here. Everyone is so kind and caring. They take the time to get to know my children and my family. The teachers are all 4 year degree in early childhood ed. and most have been there 10 or more years! My children have been here since they were two and come back every year for summer until they are too old. I love that they offer a full-day 4K program. Can't get that at public schools. Plus they are so flexible with scheduling. If you want good high quality care you will definitely find it!. Bad: nothing. Improvements: More people to enroll their children here.. Other: I love that St. Aemilian's is non-profit and open to everyone. It's wonderful that they even accept W-2 Childcare considering the tough economic times. I don't have to compromise my children's care just because of economic changes! The director is extremely helpful and willing to work with you no matter what your needs are.. more

Great school, teachers with 4 year degree 7/26/2005

An excellent school for ages 2-5. Teachers have a 4 year degree plus continuing education. The director, Maureen, is so nice. She took a lot of time after giving me a tour, to answer all of my questions. My son is now enrolled and is loving it. He's learning all the basics of preschool plus French. They have their own indoor play facility (and an outdoor playground too) so the children get physical activity every day. more

  • -Objective- We believe that every child has a right to high quality early education and care. Through maintaining a warm, sensitive, educational environment for children, they will develop health self-concepts and a love of learning. Children experience socialization, exploration, experimentation, independent, and creativity. -Schedule- Our half day Preschool is from 8:00-12:30. The full day program incorporates additional activities, includes rest time, and allows flexible scheduling between 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM, which is ideal for working families. We offer full and half day programs 2- 5 days a week. -Registration- Tours of our program are welcomed. We are open to all families regardless of sex, age, race, color, national origin, religion, handicap, economic status, sexual orientation, or family composition. We've been serving the Milwaukee and the surrounding areas for 35 years.. -Our Program- We offer full and half day programs for children ages 2 to 5 years of age during the school year,and a summer adventure program to age 8. Our educational program develops the cognitive,social,emotional,physical,and creative aspects of each child. -Program Highlights- Unique additions to our curriculum include foreign language,music,and sign language. We have an extremely low teacher turnover,low teacher to child ratio,small group sizes,and experienced 4 year degreed teachers. We accept children at age 2,and they do not need to be potty trained! We also have a fantastic 4 year old Kindergarten! Our Classrooms- The classrooms are self-contained with a variety of educational materials. An indoor,2,000 square foot carpeted area is full of equipment to enhance children's gross motor skills. We have an outdoor fenced play area adjacent to a beautiful park.
