Just want to say, me and my wife moved to the Sattler area just over a year ago and as a couple who likes to try the local fare, we decided to stop in one day because we did not want to cook. We ordered a hamburger and fries(try the sweet potatoe fries) and to our suprise, this was one of the best burgeres and homemade fries we ate in a long time. We spend a lot of weekends on short road trips to all parts of the State and country, (and I have been and lived in many places in, not just the wonderful State of Texas, but others as well) and we look for small ""hole-in -the -wall"" place to enjoy and eat good food. It is nice finding one near home. \r
Since then, we have became a regular patron of Spuds and as I work away from home many weeks at a time and one of the first things we do is head over to Spuds for a nice dinner, Try the Chicken Fried RibEye as it is great, and some friendly service.\r
The daily special always changes and there is wide variety of menu choices. The owner always comes out to say hi and see how everything is and the help is always checking up on you.\r

In short terms, very good food, homely atmoshpere, and enjoyable diner. I would recommend anyone new to the area or visiting to stop by and have some good home cooked food.
Pros: Pricing, portions, friendliness
Cons: Making sure they are open when you are hungry
