I'll start from the very best, which I probably should avoid for selfish reasons: Sprouts carries grass fed filet mignon at $9/pund. The best meat I can find in Phoenix, not fatty, soft, juicy. It's from Australia and seems/tastes like organic. They don't have it always, but when they do - we eat great steaks every day ;-)
Their veggies and fruits are cheap and pretty good (though not always). Sauces, pastas, oils, and frozen things are quite expensive (Trader Joe's is much better). Sometimes they have good fresh (never frozen) wild caught fish.
I never do all my shopping there, but it's definitely a weekly (sometimes even more frequent) stop.
Pros: some unique things, cheap veggies and fruits
Cons: limited selection
