The customer service at this store was excellent. My complaint has to do with the ""hidden"" charges to update one's phone. This is a company issue that needs to be examined closely before people take their business elsewhere. It's not funny to do all the reading, all the research, on a given deal being offered only to walk in the store, begin the transaction and find out that there are additional charges. There needs to be more transparency with this company and better deals, in my opinion. Austin consumers are too saavy to be treated this way. I for one will now consider another company in two years... more

I normally don't make reviews of places, but after reading all the terrible reviews for local Sprint stores, I had to come back after my trip there this afternoon and leave some feedback. I've been going to this Sprint store for a few years now. It was a very good experience today. The guy that helped me was great and we had a new phone & plan picked out in no time and I was out the door with my replacement phone (I broke my phone last week after dropping it in the river). The employee worked with me to help lower my monthly bill cause I'm taking the data plan and such off. There was never one bit of bugging me to keep the more expensive plan going either. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is cause the wait was a bit slow. But if you're in a hurry, I saw that you can make appointments before you go. So do that for sure if you're in any sort of rush. I'd give them 4.5 stars if I could, definitely a good experience today and for the last few years. Ridiculously Poor Customer Service 12/19/2008

I came to this Sprint store to have my 4th, yes, 4th phone checked and replaced. The tech ordered me a new phone, but accused me of downloading an application that came with the phone. Wow. The replacement came before I could get back in town and I asked, speaking to Nathan, that they hold it one additional day, and was guaranteed that it would be waiting. I called because something told me not to believe it...and guess what....my phone had been given away. What can I expect...the day that Nextel got bought out by them, I should have cancelled my service. Pros: nothing Cons: everything more
