The Scene
The Willamette Valley is home to Oregon's blossoming wine industry, and much of the region's success is thanks to touring wine lovers. This historic compound is set in a bucolic valley and surrounded by a hazelnut orchard. Many guests are wine lovers visiting the local wineries, although there are other activities nearby, such as hot air ballooning, antiquing and biking.
The Details
Built in 1912 Craftsman style, the main house offers four rooms, all with shared bath facilities. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated with antique or wicker furniture. Common areas include an entry hall with a grand piano, and a sunny glassed-in sun porch with a fireplace. For a more private experience, guest may stay in one of the secluded cottages that look out over the pond.
