This place was a great place to try some South African food, have a few beers and listen to a really good cover band on a Friday night. We'll definitely be going back. more

A friend told me about this restaurant/sports bar. It is AWESOME. Has two parts to it - a restaurant and bar. Food is fantastic. Mostly standard menu items with a handful of unique South African dishes - something for everyone on the menu. Atmosphere is very relaxed and fun. The bar is normally very busy, many good looking 21-35 year old's. They have 2 large HD TV's for viewing sport, and a number of other TV's scattered around the bar. Has pool and darts for the sports minded and a great enclosed deck where people can smoke and drink - a popular place at night. Bar staff and servers are fantastic - lots of eye candy and great personalities. Although its in Van Nuys, on Victory blvd opposite the Woodley, Balboa and Encino golf courses, its easily accessible. I was driving though Van Nuys once and stopped in the fun bar- i had never been to a south africa bar before but i found this one lots of fun. they have a good selction of foreign/obscure beers and REALLY good south african food as well as normal bar food, i recommend anything with their mushroom sauce... great atmosphere, its a lot of fun when they have a rugby/cricket match on as many people cheer and drink and are just happy(unless they lose)... its a great place and well worth a visit especially if you like every other bar you go to is the same Pros: Beer selection, unique food more
