So I walked into the store to browse the wines while on the phone. I was looking to see what they had and the shopkeeper asked me what I was looking for and I told him I was just browsing. Well he asked me a second time what I was looking for, to which I repeated I was just browsing. Thend he asked me if I was going to buy anything. I then asked him, why does it matter? To which he responded ""Yes"". Ok I am a avid wine collector and seldom get out of a shop spending less than 200 dollars. As well I am a sommolier and do not believe that the public is beholden to buy anything. Fantastically rude customer servive. I would not recomend this establishment. As to the shop keeper I recomend a different line of work. as a wine professional I was truly embarassed by this incident. more

Spring Street Spirits has the best selection in town, in my opinion. He doesn't stock a huge number of wines, but everything he does have is carefully chosen. Ask the owner about a wine, and nine times out of ten he can tell you about it. He'll also help you choose based on what you're having for dinner and what you want to spend. Pros: Great wines Cons: Not a lot of cheap stuff, if that's what you're into more
