Somewhat satisfactory 9/29/2009

Sprayberry Dental Associates as a whole is an average place. The staff was pleasant towards me. Not super pleasant, but pleasant. The main problem I had was with one of the doctors. I came in to get two composites done on my two front teeth, but he just did one big one. When he was done, I told him that I was wanting two not one. He proceeded to get a little angry and defensive. He then told me everything that was "wrong" with my teeth and how I had gaps and this and that. I was not happy with that. I came in only for two composites, but instead my teeth got a bashing. In his defense, he did correct it after. However, I thought it was unprofessional for him to behave that way after making a mistake. I was only twenty years old. I was happy that they filed it with my insurance however, because I went to another dentist that didn't once, and ended up $640 poorer because of it. I'm not sure if I'd go back or not. more

I agree Not the best but Not the worst 3/25/2009

This is a good place to get your teeth cleaned but when it comes to a personal touch, they miss by a mile. The front desk people are cold and indifferent and you never know who your dental assistant is or even if the same person is working there. You only see the dentist for a few minutes for him to check your gums and teeth and then out you go. If you are looking to build a relationship with your dentist this is not the place to go. Pros: Quickly in and out Cons: Poor Customer Service. No relationship built with staff more

Not the worst but not the best dentist 12/21/2008

There are both pros and cons to this dentistry practice. Cons - The office staff can be rude and difficult to deal with sometimes. They also have a problem with billing. I once had a $60 credit on my account that they didn't tell me about and found out about it until a year later when I used it and they told me that a refund was not an option. So I recommend that you know your insurance plan so you can check their accounting. It is also very frustrating that there is a 45-60 minute wait if you are having teeth cleaned. They will also change your appointment if they need to which is very unprofessional. \r \r Pros - Dr. Anderson has been great with my multiple teeth problems. I have been to others in the practice and have severely disliked their ""bedside manner"". If you are going in for the dentist, then the wait isn't horrible. They were very good about the pain management and recommendations for treatment. Also good about the timeliness of making the appointments which is important when your teeth hurt. more

Horrible customer service and unprofessional 11/12/2008

I have been a patient at Sprayberry Dental for over 4 years. Over the years, Sprayberry Dental seemed to have lost their initial mission. They have become more concerned with money than about helping and caring for their patients. I have had to deal with several issues. First of all, their staff is not friendly. Some of the hygenists like to gossip. The front desk employees seem to act with a superiority mentality and are very unprofessional. I have had my appointments changed last minute several times only because it would be more ""convenient"" for the staff, even though I have a very busy schedule and made the appointment months in advance. In addition, I am very prone to cavities. Therefore, I would like to feel like I can trust my dentist in that he would find the cavities and fill them before they would become a bigger concern. For three or more occasions, I had to go back to the office and point them out because I felt that they were overlooked. Sure enough, they were cavities and I caught them just in time. Shouldn't they be able to catch them? Not only that, I think they were aggravated with me because I kept going back to them to ask them to look at certain spots because I felt that they were cavities (and they were), so finally they would just say that I was clenching/grinding my teeth at night, causing the suspicious feelings in my teeth. In addition, I have had several issues with billing when I finally stopped going to them. Needless to say, I do not recommend Sprayberry Dental. Pros: Parking Cons: Service more

Wonderful Dentist: Understanding, professional dentistry for those who are afraid of the dental visits!!! 6/9/2008

Before Sprayberry Dental, I would only go to dentists who used nitric acid(laughing gas) so I wouldn't have to feel the pain of their work. The dental staff at Sprayberry Dental on Sandy Plains rd. renewed my confidence in going to the dentist. The dental hygienists were kind, patient and knowledgeable and explained what they were doing so that I could relax. My dentist was friendly, thorough, patient and efficient. He gave me enough anesthesia so that I wouldn't feel him working on my teeth. The whole process was finished in 20 minutes. He even suggested a better toothpaste for me to use to help teeth (which were previously sensitive to hot and cold temperatures). The prices are very affordable and they accept most insurance plans including Kaiser (which many dentists do not accept). Great dentist if you have young children, too!!! Pros: Patient, Friendly, Caring Staff for those who are afraid of dental pain Cons: NA more

Poor Customer service 1/17/2008

Not a user friendly office when it comes to billing and obtaining appointments. The staff is not friendly and mgmt did not appear to care about concerns rasied as a patient. more

Horrible! Keep looking-------- 11/24/2007

This office has multiple issues! First, the office staff is completely incompetent. They will mess up your insurance, mis-schedule appointments, be downright rude, and more. Secondly, the dentists appear to be more interested in making a profit than patient care. The procedures recommended will depend upon your insurance, and what they will pay. Keep looking! I would not recommend this office!! more
