Best

Spotos is one of our favorite restaurants in Palm Beach Gardens. The food is amazing and the service is top notch.\r \r The coconut cream pie is to die for!

Worst

SAYS IT ALL IN THE HEADLINE... SIMPY EXPENSIVE AND BASIC FOOD LIKE YOU WOULD EXPECT IN A PLACE AT HALF THE PRICE... Pros: RAW CLAMS Cons: MUDDY DISHES

Went here a few nights ago with my girlfriend. Food was great and so was the service. I got little neck clams and she got the mahi mahi. We also had ahi tuna as a appetizer. The tuna was fresh and sushi grade. Clams were amazing and fresh as well. Dee also say outside and the scenery is nice. more

Spoto's is probably the best restaurant for lobster in all of Florida, literally.\r I just told the waiter, Steve Krall that I could eat lobster their for the next three weeks every night and never get tired of it.\r \r A very handy tip one of the waitresses gave me for the lobster is to have them bring out the butter (which has a pretty decent sized candle under it) out at the beginning first thing so the butter is bubbling hot when the lobster gets there. more

We live in PBG year round and this is our "go to" restaurant...never had a bad meal and dining outside is a plus...and our dog loves it too! Try the bread pudding for desert...it is the best I've had...and if you are really lucky you will have Chun as your waiter! more

@Snapper451, anyone that orders stone crabs at a restaurant is just plain lazy. Eat them at home, or on your hotel balcony, there's no cooking involved, just buy the mustard sauce. @ nanagold, anyone that orders dinner for two from travelocity for $59.95 is going to learn a lesson, as you did. Try pollo tropical, you'll enjoy it, they might even take credit cards for your $4.00 tropichop.\r Now, onto Spoto's, the Asian oyster shooters are the best, order six and enjoy the oyster, soy, sour cream, seaweed salad shot in one gulp and chew. Everything else we've had has been excellent. The fish dip and flatbread are a favorite. Join their reward club and you get a free lunch or dinner item the month of your birthday and earn a free meal after five or six visits based on dollars spent. This place is stellar.\r Cost $$$$, I give it 3 $$$. more

I am confused by all the poor reviews here on Urbanspoon about Spoto's. I've eaten at Spoto's several times while visiting West Palm Beach area and I have never had a bad experience at Spoto's. I've had soups, salads, entree's, appetizers and desserts with family and friends and never had a bad one nor have I experienced any service issues. more

We were sent over by the Ritz Carlton conceirge. First, they lost our reservation. Second, the clam chowder has the consistency of oatmeal and when I sent it back they said it was because it had been sitting there all evening (it was 7 PM) - then they offered to water it down for me! I passed. Waiter was not engaged - he got maybe 1 of 4 requests. Meals were average at best - hard to mess up stone crabs but they were small. Desserts were bad - don't order the coconut cream pie - tasted like frozen from the Publix freezer case! more

They "forgot" to cook my meal. When they did finally cook it and send it back out, it was very bland and not worth the price. What else can I say? Save yourself your time and money, and go somewhere they care about their customers. more

Very expensive for average food. I was excited to have the oysters and they were nothing special. more

Management of Spoto's ruined the birthday celebration for 2 of our party of 4 by forcing a policy that made no sense. PUBLIC RELATIONS 101! Both couples purchased a dinner for 2 for $59.95 from Travelocity. We made a reservation for Saturday night, 7/9/11 advising them we were using the deal from Travelocity. The ladies went to the bar and ordered drinks while the men checked in. We were told, supposedly by the owner, we could not use both deals at one table although the paperwork did not state "only one per table". The owner admitted the policy was not clearly stated but she would not accomodate us with both deals at one talble. We would have to sit at separate tables. I tried my luck with persuation, but was introduced to yet another lady purporting to be the owner with the same resolution! WE LEFT after finishing and paying for our drinks. YOU CAN"T MAKE THIS STUFF UP!!! Barbara Goldfarb more

Consistently excellent seafood; the oysters, clams and shripm always the same high quality. \r \r the Bloody Mary on the other hand is hit and miss. No consistency. more

Great upscale raw bar atmosphere. Sit at the raw bar for the full effect. The oysters were the best I've had in Florida. Ice cold, full of flavor and very clean. Don't forget to order a bowl of chowder. more
