I have found the staff to be very knowledgable. They run a great Club promotion and have a lot of stuff in stock.

I was referred to this establishment by a friend so I called them to get a quote on a handgun and when I went in to pick it up I was charged more than what I was quoted on the phone, in fact, I was charged more than the price on the same gun in the case. When I told the guy behind the counter about this he said to pick out a ""brick"" of ammo - which I did. He then made the comment that I did not pick the cheapest ammo they had and I promptly told him that I did not pick the most expensive either (but after I left I realized I probably should have!). \r This is a good shop if you don’t value begin appreciated as a customer otherwise, I would suggest taking your business where it will be appreciated. I will only use them from time to time if I need an FFL transfer since they are close by but I don't appreciated being cheated on price even if their prices are good. more

Walked in the door with all intentions of purchasing a new handgun for my wife. While checking out guns in the case out of the corner of my eye I see a weapon being pointed at me. The employee had a semi pistol out of the case looking at it and working the slide. I asked him if he could please not point that in my direction and he returned the gun to the case to pull out another and do the same thing again. I again stated ""really""!! I can't believe your pointing that at me not just once but twice. I asked ""do you work here?"" he replied ""Why yes I do"" I stated I couldn't believe he would do it not once but twice and I didn't care if it were loaded or unloaded. He then changed directions and pointed it away but in the direction of another patron checking out at the cash register. All this time the other older employee checking out the other patron never said a word and another genetlemen behine the case I was looking at walked away. I walked out and couldn't belive the lack of professionalism and gun safety. They need to keep to selling guns on the internet. more

They're staff is very ignorant. I went in there looking for ammo one day just to check the place out and they were completely ignorant. I was actually told by some people not to go there but I figured I'd see for myself. They were less than helpful and actually called me an idiot. That's not good business. They come off as ignorant wanna be tough guys hiding behind guns. I will never shop there again. more

Total Idiots 4/17/2010

I recently purchased a crossbow and was looking for bolts and equipment. I had won a $100.00 gift certificate and was using it as my initial payment but my bill was going to be more. I bought bolts ,broadheads, rail lube and wax. Not once did anyone ask me if I needed any help. My bow came with 300gr bolts and 125gr field points equalling 425 total total grains. The only bolts that they had close to my weight were 14 grains heavier than what I was using with 125gr. Hell being honest I figured they would know if the difference in weight would cause a significant problem and I was told I couldn't shoot them out of my bow.Now on the package it did say ""compatable with barnett"" but being new to the sport, I didn't know. Truefully I really don't want to be out there injurying deer and I ain't ashamed to admit I need some guidance. Sportsman's Supply is not the place to find it. I bought the arrows because I didn't win a gift certificate for any other sporting goods store and times are tight. I called a friend who's dad owns a archery pro shop and told me that 14gr makes NO difference as long as the spline is the same. I want to thank the ""PRO"" tattooed retard that gave me the good advice. I will be sure that the company that I got the gift certificate from know exactly how they run business there. Trust me; Go to someone that knows there business. Pros: The door was only a little stuck Cons: The whole staff more
