I recently purchased a crossbow and was looking for bolts and equipment. I had won a $100.00 gift certificate and was using it as my initial payment but my bill was going to be more. I bought bolts ,broadheads, rail lube and wax. Not once did anyone ask me if I needed any help. My bow came with 300gr bolts and 125gr field points equalling 425 total total grains. The only bolts that they had close to my weight were 14 grains heavier than what I was using with 125gr. Hell being honest I figured they would know if the difference in weight would cause a significant problem and I was told I couldn't shoot them out of my bow.Now on the package it did say ""compatable with barnett"" but being new to the sport, I didn't know. Truefully I really don't want to be out there injurying deer and I ain't ashamed to admit I need some guidance. Sportsman's Supply is not the place to find it. I bought the arrows because I didn't win a gift certificate for any other sporting goods store and times are tight. I called a friend who's dad owns a archery pro shop and told me that 14gr makes NO difference as long as the spline is the same. I want to thank the ""PRO"" tattooed retard that gave me the good advice. I will be sure that the company that I got the gift certificate from know exactly how they run business there. Trust me; Go to someone that knows there business.
Pros: The door was only a little stuck
Cons: The whole staff
