Sportique is Scooters! 6/25/2011

I have had nothing but phenomenal experiences with Sportique. I purchased a scooter there and have had work done on both my and my wife's scooters. The reviews that are bashing the mechanics don't know what they are talking about...these guys know their stuff. I have not only had very complicated work done, but have also had a completely new souped-up engine installed and numerous upgrades. The money for the work is more than worth it (finding people who are very knowledgeable on scooter specifically can be hard to come by). Mike at Sportique has made my little 50cc into a super fast, and very bad-ass scoot. He's awesome. Like i said, these guys know what they're doing and they are a local, family-owned business. I personally would rather support a local company. That being said, I very much believe that Sportique's service and mechanic work is absolutely worth the money. more

Great little shop 6/24/2011

I brought my scooter in to this shop a few weeks ago to have some running issues fixed. I had previously taken it to another shop in boulder for this same issue and they could not fix it they said they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Sportique had the bike diagnosed and fixed within 2 hours of me bringing it in. They also advised me on a separate issue that the previous shop had completely overlooked. These guys really know their scooters and they couldn't have been friendlier. I am definitely taking my bike back here for service again. more

Buyer Beware 6/15/2011

Look out these guys do not know what they are doing. There mechanics are not certified at all and do not know how to work on scooters. They charged me 170$ in labor to do nothing I repeat nothing. JB do not let him touch your bike. This kid knows NOTHING about scooters his Dad gave him the job with no qualifications,They charged me 170 to fix my scoot. Went there to pick it up.Was still taken apart and parts were missing. I had to say hey Something is wrong here my bikes not back together and parts are missing Mike disgustingly went in the back to get my parts. They were in a plastic bag. After a few minutes of him being rude to me for there failure of service he asks ""do you want me to put it back on"" Yes finish the job. DO NOT EVER GO TO SPORTIQUE!!!!!! You have been warned!!!!!!!!!!!! more

The best Place to Buy a Scooter. 7/7/2009

I bought my people 50 there last summer. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with them. They how ever are a Family owned business and worth working with the little quirks that may come along. The KYMCO people had a dying issue that the whole country was unable to diagnose.. And the Mechanic at SPORTIQUE was the one to figure it out. I may have had an issue but they worked hard and got it fixed. Up front Pricing and all around great Store!!! Pros: Every Scooter you could want, helmets, service Cons: Not a Corporate Company. more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! HIGHER PRICES TOO! BUY FROM COOL TOYS MARINE INSTEAD! 9/4/2008

WORST Customer Service! Instead, go to Tri City Cyles in Loveland 970-667-8697 for great customer service and lower, reasonable prices! And they sell People Scooters too for the same price as Sportique! They treat you right! Boulder's Sportiqe wanted $450 more for the same scooter I found at Cool Toys Marine in Littleton (303) 973-4500, so I bought at Cool Toys, but I live in Boulder so took it to Sportique for service; they demanded to know where I'd bought mine (what business is it of theirs?) and treated me like dirt! They actually chastised me for not buying it from them! Rudely! I told them flat out they were $450 too high or I would have. They still couldn't be nice, they carried on about ""you get what you pay for"" in a very SMARTASS way until I took my scooter and left. I'm a middleaged professional and I don't take that from any business! We took it to Tri City Cycles for service and were very happy! Saved over $100 on the work we wanted done, too! AVOID SPORTIQUE IF YOU CAN. DON'T BUY FROM THEM OR USE THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT! Tri City Cycles and Cool Toys Marine will treat you right! (But I'd pick Tri City Cyles for their service work since the Marine place is more focused on boats, not scooters.) Pros: IF YOU BREAK DOWN IN BOULDER THEY CAN FIX IT Cons: WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, TREAT YOU LIKE DIRT more

Horrible Customer Service 6/16/2008

I bought my scooter her 2 years ago and I love it and have had no problems with it., but I am really tired of putting up with Sportique. They jacked me around when buying it, saying they would have it on this date and that date and I ended up getting it like 3 weeks later. When I called them to ask about it, they acted annoyed that I was calling. I had problems getting the plates for it, because they were being investigated about taxes in Boulder vs taxes in Denver. Whenever I have it serviced it has never been ready when they say it will be and they never call me to let me know, it just up to me to call and find out. If there was any place else in Boulder that could service it, I would take it there in a heartbeat to never have to mess with these poeple again. I think they know this and don't value their customers because of it. more

Coolest scoots, Great service, extremely knowledgeable staff 5/28/2008

i recently moved to boulder from new york (which has a huge scooter scene) and was fearful that i wouldn't have a local shop to frequent or even worse only find shops that carry junk. much to my surprise i found a great shop in sportique scooters boulder. they only carry the highest quality scoots on the market and even more impressive, the staff is extremely knowledgeable of both past and present scoots and willing to go out of their way to educate those new to the scene.... i would definately recommend this shop to anyone in town, anyone thinking of scooting around on two wheels, or even as a travel stop for those people that love scooters. Pros: selection, knowledge, staff more

Best scoot shop anywhere 5/28/2008

I've frequented many scooter shops over the years, and Sportique is by far the best I've come across as of late. Awesome people who know there stuff and have helped me out, no matter how many times I've annoyed them with my tire-kicking tendencies. I've always had great customer service and a friendly attitude with everything I've needed help with. Keep doing what you do Sportique. Pros: Great bikes, great service Cons: Sometimes you have to wait to get service due to the huge number of people that pack in there more

great shop! 5/28/2008

Sportique is a destination! It's hard to believe they can offer the same awesome 'culture' at four stores. I visited the Boulder location for the first time recently and I was pleased to see that they have done a wonderful job there just as they have in Denver. Pros: friendly, knowledgeable staff Cons: can come accross as aloof more

Terrible Customer Service 4/22/2008

I took my scooter in for the recommended service to have the fluids changed on April 16th. After going into Sportique Scooters on April 15th, I made an appointment to have the fluids changed on the 16th. I was assured by making an appointment on the 15th to have the fluids changed on the 16th, that the work would be completed by the end of the business day on the 16th. After taking the scooter in on the 16th I was told the scooter servicing would be completed by the 19th instead of the 16th. I agreed to have the services completed at that time to be finished by April 19th. However, when I called on the 19th to pick up my scooter I was told it would now be finished on the 22nd on April. At this point I went to pick up the scooter. After arriving at Sportique Scooter to pick up my scooter without having it for almost a week and still without the servicing, I was told not to bring it back for servicing. Funny that when I dropped 3000 dollars on the scooter they rushed to get everything done, but when you go for service you get treated terrible. Pros: They sell scooters in Boulderq Cons: Rude and terrible for service more
